The Phillips originally contacted RAZ Architecture to design a major remodel to their existing home on horse property in Neil Gayle Ranch in Laguna Hills, California. However, due to the many major changes desired by the client and the kind of home they really wanted, a decision was made to tear down the existing structure and build a new home. A new 11,000 sq. ft. custom home was developed by RAZ Architecture. Some spectactular spaces were created starting with the Porte Cochere at the front of the residence, connected to the Covered Walkway leading to the Grand Entry Front Doors. The Entry Doors are encased by a Stone Vault that continues on into the interior of the residence and the Formal Entry. As you step into the Formal Entry to the upper left you see the "Villa Type Veranda" at the second floor Master Bedroom Foyer. Straight ahead you see a "Bridge" connecting the second floor Master Bedroom Suite to the rest of the second floor. You also look through to the Living Room and on into the rear yard of the property.. To the right you experience the "Grand Circular Staircase" making its way up to the second floor and to the "Bridge" connecting to the Master Bedroom Suite. Directly above you take in a spectacular "Domed Ceiling". Another great space is the "Man Cave" complete with "Stand Behind Bar" and a "Spiral Staircase" which leads down to the "Basement Wine Cellar". The 2,400 sq. ft. Basement also contains a Home Theater, A Home Gym/Guest Room, Bathroom and Arts and Crafts/Storage Room.
